Indianapolis, IN – In recognition of its March 1994 incorporation as a cooperative and consistent with a key cooperative principle, Concern for Community, IWDC is organizing a fund drive for The Wish For Our Heroes Foundation.
“Our Purchasing & Marketing Committee, which plays an integral part in planning and executing our annual Spring Sales & Purchasing Convention, came up with the idea to celebrate our milestone and help a worthy cause. IWDC’s staff then worked quickly to develop a program tied into our convention to accomplish the mission”, said Frank Kasnick, CEO & President of I.W.D.C..
“We bring together many of the best independent welding distributors and industry vendors to conduct business, network, train and learn from each other and adding in the opportunity for all participants to give to a worthy cause in recognition to this key milestone is a winner all around”, states Ed Holmes, IWDC’s VP of Marketing & Supply Chain.
All 500+ attendees will have multiple opportunities to participate including donating by purchasing “Wish For Our Heroes” bonds which ties in nicely with the convention’s buying theme. IWDC’s goal will be to create the biggest “winner’s circle” in the history of Indianapolis racing!
The IWDC is a cooperative, formed in 1994, which leverages the strengths of its independent welding distributor members across North America. IWDC’s 140 Member companies collectively represent over $2.2B in sales, serving a wide range of industries.
