In November, Wish for Our Heroes North Florida hosted a very successful 6th annual Golf Classic Fundraiser & Inaugural Night for Our Heroes Gala at The Yards Golf Club in Ponte Vedra, raising money to directly support active-duty military members. We are pleased to announce we raised over $205,000 at this year’s events.
We especially want to thank Swisher International for their presenting sponsorship at the gala, and the many volunteers who helped put on the event. It was an honor to be able to show the work Wish For Our Heroes does for the community. Giving back to military families who make so many sacrifices for us is our passion.
Wish for Our Heroes is proud of the fact that 97% of all monies raised go directly towards granting wishes. The organization’s priority is to always grant basic needs or emergencies first – anything from putting food on the table to assisting with car repairs, home repairs, baby supplies, clothing, etc.
