Lt Colonel Lee Shick, of Randolph Air Force Base, enjoyed the Spurs game on January 19, 2011, with his three teenage children. Their tickets allowed them early entry into the game, which enabled them to obtain autographs from players. Lt Colonel Shick said the highlight of the evening was meeting and having his photo taken with David Robinson, former center for the Spurs. Considering Robinson was a Navy man himself, he has a great affinity for members of the military.
Lt Colonel Shick was also able to watch his son’s high school football team during halftime, as they were recognized for winning the state high school football championship. The final highlight was cheering on the Spurs to their victory over the Raptors.
