It was a beautiful day at the Michigan International Speedway as the US Army was honored with a birthday cake. Behind the scenes and excitement was a great group of people from CARFAX who gave an opportunity of a lifetime to avid NASCAR fan CSM Marty Mieras. Joedy Lenz, from CARFAX, noticed the uniformed CSM Mieras and asked him and Cheryl Burris to be his family's and CARFAX guest for NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Father's Day. While CSM Mieras humbly accepted, he did not realize the extent to which CARFAX had planned to honor his service. Team CARFAX rolled out the red carpet for the distinguished combat veteran in the form of Pace Car Laps, Hospitality Suite Tickets, parking passes, and a personal meet and greet with both Mark Martin and Travis Kvapil.
