The Daddy’s were boiling, fans were cheering, and wishes were being granted at the Texas Motor Speedway last weekend. WISH for OUR HEROES hosted an inaugural crawfish boil at the track to raise money for the troops. With the help of Friday Night Light’s actors Kyle Chandler, Drew Waters and Brad
Leland, along with a lot of generous fans and volunteers, WISH for OUR HEROES raised a lot of awareness and money for the brave men and women who serve. This event could not have happened without our own Cajun master, the “Crawfish King”, SFC Anthony Rives. Tony organized the event from start to finish and dished up plate after plate of crawfish, corn and other goodies. We would also like to thank Billy Hutchinson and ML Motorsports www.mlracing.com/ for their support, and for gracing our stage prior to your race Friday evening.
