Last month, Wish for Our Heroes North Florida hosted a very successful 3rd annual Golf Classic Fundraiser at the Marsh Landing Country Club, raising money to directly support active-duty military members. Hole In One Winners received prizes from Fields Auto Group including a 24-month lease on a Porche Macan, a swing caddie, and a laser rangefinder.
This year, we welcomed a recent Wish recipient whose wife was in need of a wheelchair lift for their vehicle. It was an honor to be able to show the work Wish For Our Heroes does for the community. Giving back to military families who make so many sacrifices for us is our passion.
Wish for Our Heroes is proud of the fact that 97% of all monies raised go directly towards granting wishes. The organization’s priority is to always grant basic needs or emergencies first – anything from putting food on the table to assisting with car repairs, home repairs, baby supplies, clothing, etc.
