The Marine Foundation of Indiana is a non-profit organization that seeks to enhance the lives and provide support for Marines and their Family Members. The foundation will raise community awareness and efforts to provide financial assistance and moral support at home, during activation and/or deployments of Marines. The foundation will work with other veteran and non-profit organizations to support the Marine Family.
On March 28, 2015, a capacity crowd (150 seats) sat down to play bingo at the Marine Barracks in Indianapolis, Indiana to benefit a fellow charity, WISH for OUR HEROES. Although The Marine Foundation of Indiana primarily focuses on Marines and their families that are in need, they were happy to help all active duty militiary and their families through WISH for OUR HEROES. With so many participants and nearly 20 sponsors from industries of all sorts, the night of bingo raised $9,000 for W4OH. A truly remarkable act of kindess. The funds raised will go to help so many in need across the country. Whether it’s to repair a family car that is having issues, buying groceries for the week because funds are low or even replacing old worn out appliances, this donation will do so much for so many active military and their families.
