Jamaika is in the Navy, currently based in Jacksonville, FL, and expecting her first child.
With the baby due in July and the father not currently involved, Jamaika has been struggling with preparing for the baby while taking care of basic needs such as paying rent, car insurance, and keeping food on the table.
To help ensure Jamaika and her baby would have necessary supplies such as wipes, diapers, and formula, Wish for Our Heroes teamed up with Wal-Mart for assistance in granting her wish. We were able to provide a $500 gift card to Wal-Mart for baby supplies. In addition, Wal-Mart provided an additional gift card in the amount of $100.
