We are very excited to share how your contributions and generosity have allowed our chapter to grant another wish in Jacksonville, Florida! Edgardo is an active member of the US Navy who need assistance paying for medications for his children.
After his wife began homeschooling their young children when they were diagnosed with autism and ADHD, Edgardo’s family started living off of a single income. The family was devastated when they found out the medication their children would need is not covered by their insurance. Their financial situation was a heavy and stressful burden.
Edgardo reached out to Wish For Our for help. We were able to grant Edgardo’s family $618, which covers three months’ worth of medication. In addition, we are working with the First Hand Foundation which provides children with the medication and treatment they need.
